This one's for all the "experienced" drivers out there.
Please, for love of jeebus, don't beep your horn at a learner driver just because you're frustrated at road conditions or a learners speed/actions.
Firstly, take the time to remember what it was like to be a learner driver yourself. It wasn't easy for you so don't make it difficult for anyone learning now. More often than not the reactions we receive are arrogant and far beyond acceptable.
As Instructors we are trying to teach people how to drive safely and in accordance with modern driving safety standards. Something that a lot of "experienced" drivers will not be aware of or are just totally ignoring.
Teaching someone to drive in this day and age is a much more complicated experience than you might think, unless you've passed your driving test within the last 10 years you will have very little appreciation of how difficult it can be to learn with the increasing risks attached to modern traffic, congestion and driver behaviour in Belfast or any other area of Northern Ireland for that matter.
We're all supposed to be pulling in the same direction after all and taking your frustration out on a learner driver only illustrates your ignorance and childish impatience.
